An old-school way to make new connections (no Yente necessary).
27 Y/O BRAZILIAN JEWISH WOMAN. Went to Israel 3x, was part of a youth movement (tnuá) but never went to a Jewish/Hebrew school. Looking for fellow “I should know this by now” Jews to study with, laugh about the gaps and finally fill them. Virtual welcome! 🇧🇷✡️
22F FROM MOROCCO BUT ACTUALLY LIVING IN FRANCE ISO MY OTHER HALF. I’m in my third year studying interior architecture and open to moving abroad after school 🙂
NJB LOOKING FOR HIS BEAR-SHERT. 29 y/o cutie living in a desert for single, gay Jews (Kentucky). I’ll be your Player Two, your big or small spoon, your point-of-contact for good anime recommendations, your pickleball partner and more. I’m proficient in Hebrew and fluent in fun. Coffee, anyone?
33F ISO FELLOW YOUNG JEWISH WIDOW PEN PALS! Let’s walk in grief together and bake challah over FaceTime.
QUEER WOMAN IN LONDON (33) LOOKING FOR LOML. I love movies, Jewish learning, psychoanalysis, working on my Hebrew and my Portuguese, and hilarity. Looking for a relationship that is both intellectual and sexy, funny and earnest. I’m mostly in London and Vienna (and formerly NYC); where are you?
20M JEWISH STUDENT FROM PRAGUE LOOKING FOR A GF. I love playing guitar and very weird instruments, sports and taking long trips through the countryside. If you enjoy talking about books and history, I am more than interested. Btw: Be careful! Shabbats with me can be very adventurous!
23 Y/O SAPPHIC, AUTISTIC FUTURE RABBI IN RICHMOND, VA LOOKING FOR MY FUTURE REBBETZIN. Introverted and looking for someone who loves bookstores more than bars. I bake a lot, love to sew and sing, adore fashion and write poetry. Long distance is an option if you don’t live nearby! My gecko and I are a full package deal!
34F QUEER IN DALLAS ISO HER WIFE. (Anywhere in the world — not tied to Dallas). Liberal, Jewish nonprofit girlie with a nuanced relationship with Israel. Into meaningful conversation, cooking and sushi nights. Seeking someone emotionally intelligent, funny and open-hearted.
42F AUSSIE (NEW) IN LONDON SEEKING FRIENDS/BOOK CLUB. I’m warm, curious, lively. New interests include: late-in-life fandom (“Heated Rivalry” finally got me!), psychoanalysis, Cotswolds walks. Lifelong interests: Austen, American lit, Yiddish, Shabbos dinner, late-night baking, sea bathing.
22F AMERICAN IN FRANCE LOOKING FOR A PASSOVER SEDER IN THE PARIS-ROUEN AREA. Raised Reform but open to anything, whether it’s a traditional family seder or a gathering of friends! I speak French & can bring kosher-for-Passover baked goods!
25 Y/O LESBIAN IN ISRAEL. Looking for the one to watch sunrises with at the beach, try new things and laugh with forever.
TRAD-EGAL 20M ISO SOMEONE TO VIRTUALLY STUDY TORAH AND/OR TALMUD WITH ON SUNDAYS (EST). I’m new to study, and since I’m one of very few observant Jews in my area it’s hard to find people to intellectually engage with on halacha. Ideally looking for someone around my age, but otherwise I have no real specifications 🙂

In 2021, Hey Alma boldly asked: What if there were a way for Jews to talk to each other more? Hey Alma Classifieds was born out of this question, with the intent of providing our online Jewish community with a slower, more intentional way of connecting with one another. Since then, our anonymous personals have helped create Shabbat dinners, Hanukkah parties, Torah study groups and mah jongg leagues all across the world. They’ve brought together Jews looking for their bashert (or something more casual), whether they’ve been a lesbian bochur ISO a dyke with Avigdor energy or a bubbe looking for her Nice Jewish Zeyde. We’ve even seen multiple engagements and weddings! But first, what are you waiting for? Go submit your classified! The Jewish life of your dreams starts here.
